Attend The Largest Community Event At Rockin’ AWEtism

Rockin’ AWEtism

April is Autism Awareness Month, and it’s also the month for the Rockin’ AWEtism Auction and Car Show at the Maxwell Center. This year’s event will be on April 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Maxwell Center. Come out and have a blast while helping the New Independence Academy raise money. Bring the entire family since there is something for all ages.

For the Kiddos

Your kids will have the time of their lives at this event. Kids love bounce houses, and there will be plenty here. There’ll also be face painting and balloon animals, along with cornhole. That’s a great game to play with the entire family. Spend some time enjoying these activities with the kiddos. Then, you’ll be ready for some adult-oriented fun.

For the Adults

You’ll go crazy over the car show and auction. You never know what kind of cars you’ll find here, so you’ll want to browse through them all. You might even see a vehicle or two that will take you back to your childhood. You can also bring your own if you want. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., so if you have something to show off, drive it over.

The auction is so much fun as well. It’s a live auction so you’ll be bidding against others. See if you can secure one of the hot items at the auction, all the while knowing that the money will help the New Independence Academy. It starts at noon, so if you aren’t showing your vehicle, walk over and place your bid.

You definitely want to go to this event, but how are you going to get there? Doug Henry Buick GMC in Goldsboro, North Carolina, has a huge assortment of options that are great for your entire family. Head over, take a vehicle or two out for a spin, and then fill out the paperwork. We will get you back out on the road quickly.
